A six-panel Sunday strip following a Princess's increasingly absurd demands on her servant Hennessy. Each panel advances through escalating physical comedy—the Princess tumbles from her chair, summons him via telephone, shrieks orders about shrimp and crayfish, then orders him beneath a massive mattress before finally collapsing dead on the floor. The strip demonstrates early newspaper comic conventions: consistent character design, numbered panels with sequential narration, speech balloons advancing plot, and visual gags built on repetition and exaggeration. By the early 1900s, Sunday newspaper comics had become a major entertainment vehicle, establishing the visual and narrative language that would define the medium for decades.
