Outbursts of Everett True

A two-panel Sunday strip following the misadventures of Everett True, an irascible character prone to explosive reactions. The top panel shows True disrupting a church wedding announcement; the bottom depicts chaos erupting when a newly married couple is warned that marriage itself brings trouble. The strip's visual language—sequential panels, speech balloons, exaggerated body language—exemplifies the newspaper comic tradition that emerged in the early 1900s.
