Outbursts of Everett True

A two-panel Sunday strip showcasing the irascible Everett True, a character who responds to minor social transgressions with theatrical outrage. In the top panel, True witnesses an infraction on a streetcar; below, he exacts comedic revenge on the offender in bed, declaring "I won't be so easy on you the next time!!!" The strip employs the visual conventions then standard in newspaper comics: sequential panels, speech balloons, and exaggerated body language to convey narrative and humor.
