Pinhead Pete

In this Sunday strip, Pete—a character with an enormously oversized head—responds to audience laughter with a practical retort: his physical oddity may draw laughs, but he cannot turn around without risking injury. The comic trades on visual incongruity and physical comedy typical of early newspaper strips.
