Feg Murray's *Seein' Stars* was a celebrity gossip strip that appeared in Sunday newspapers during the early 1930s. The strip featured illustrated vignettes of Hollywood actors and entertainers alongside brief factual or humorous anecdotes about their lives and careers. Here, panels about Bela Lugosi and a duel in Hungary sit alongside sketches of Connie Bennett (shown at a train window), Edward G. Robinson with his pipe collection, and Louise Hazenda in an elaborate costume. The strip exemplified how newspapers serialized entertainment journalism in comic form, using portrait-style drawings and casual layouts typical of pre-modern comic strip design.
