Silk Hat Harry's Divorce Suit

A newspaper comic strip by Tad Dorgan, one of the era's most prolific cartoonists. The strip follows a domestic dispute through six sequential panels, each framed by bold borders and connected by speech balloons—visual conventions that became standard in comic storytelling. Harry and his wife argue over his night out; she threatens divorce. The humor relies on exaggerated body language and rapid-fire dialogue.
