The Terrors of the Tiny Tads

A six-panel Sunday strip following a group of children through encounters with wildlife. The narrative unfolds across panels using sequential art conventions: the tads plan an outing, encounter a pickerelephant by the water, flee a pursuing chimpanzee, meet a snake, discover the creature swims, and finally spot a puma. The strip employs panel borders, speech balloons, and recurring child characters to drive continuous action—visual techniques central to newspaper comics of the 1900s-1910s. Animal humor and domestic mishap were staples of the Sunday supplement pages that preceded the modern comic book.
