A domestic comedy strip featuring a husband seeking help with household chores. The two-panel format uses speech balloons and sequential action to establish a simple gag: the wife agrees to assist, then physically tickles him into submission. The exaggerated facial expressions and caricature style reflect early newspaper comic conventions. By 1912, such strips appeared regularly in Sunday editions, establishing the visual language of comics—panels, dialogue balloons, recurring characters in domestic situations—that would define the medium for decades.
