Little Jimmy

A Sunday comic strip featuring the mischievous antics of a young boy and his companions. The strip employs sequential panels with speech balloons to depict pranks and domestic comedy—visual techniques that became foundational to comics. By 1909, newspaper Sunday pages had evolved into laboratories for this emerging form: recurring characters, multi-panel narratives, and visual gags organized through panel borders.
