Figure Study

Robert Frederick Blum's rapid figure sketch demonstrates the gestural drawing technique essential to comic art's visual language. Working in ink with loose, economical lines, Blum captures anatomical structure and movement—the fundamental skills that would later define how sequential artists rendered characters across panels.
