Cattle Study for Sheep-Shearing

Walter Shirlaw's sketch depicts the interior of a barn or stable, rendered in pen and ink with assured cross-hatching. A large cow dominates the composition, positioned centrally amid farm equipment and architectural elements—wooden beams, doorways, and storage areas.
