Study for "Scientific Group"

Daniel Huntington's preparatory sketches explore figure composition and narrative arrangement for a larger work. The upper study presents a formal gathering of figures in animated discussion, while the lower sheet develops individual groups and spatial relationships. Through rapid pen work, Huntington establishes gesture, costume, and interaction—the visual vocabulary needed to orchestrate multiple figures into coherent narrative space.
