Two Schemes for Church Windows

John La Farge's architectural drawing presents two designs for ecclesiastical windows, rendered in watercolor and ink. The left scheme features a single tall arch supported by slender columns with a semicircular fanlight, while the right design employs three columns supporting a grander arched opening with a central oculus window. Both incorporate decorative moldings and colored glass sections—blues, greens, and reds—typical of late-nineteenth-century church decoration.
