Landscape Study

Leon Dabo (1868–1960) was an American painter known for his atmospheric landscape compositions and tonalist approach. This ink sketch demonstrates his interest in capturing light effects and spatial recession across a horizontal vista. The loose, gestural line work and horizontal layering—visible in the treatment of water, landforms, and sky—show Dabo's concern with atmospheric perspective.
