This document is a declassified U.S. Air Force report dated March-April 1949 concerning unidentified aerial phenomena observed at Watson Laboratories in Red Bank, New Jersey. Four qualified observers employed at the facility—including radio mechanics and an administrative assistant with minimum two-year tenures and favorable security clearance histories—reported sighting an unidentified object on March 4, 1949, around 2:20 p.m. The witnesses described a disc-shaped, metallic object of non-luminous white or light aluminum color, approximately the size of a dinner plate at arm's length, traveling at high speed from northeast to northwest. The object reportedly made a half-loop turn and disappeared into the horizon within approximately one minute. No visible propulsion, vapor, heat waves, or projections were noted. The sighting occurred in bright sunny conditions. No radar contact was made, and the object's relationship to a passing B-29 aircraft was documented.
