This appears to be an official U.S. Air Force intelligence investigation document from April 1949 regarding a reported "flying disc" sighting near Denver, Colorado on April 6th. The document contains investigative reports, weather data, and radar records from Lowry Air Force Base and personnel at Stapleton Airport. On the evening of April 6th, an FBI Special Agent and several witnesses observed an object at approximately 15,000-25,000 feet traveling eastward and gaining altitude for about fifteen minutes before fading from sight. The object was described as dark-colored with a small bluish-yellow light trailing. Air Force investigation, including radar records and meteorological analysis, determined the object was a standard 100-gram weather balloon equipped with batteries and a flashlight bulb released by the U.S. Weather Bureau Station at Stapleton Field. Official identification was confirmed on April 8th when witnesses observed an identical balloon release.
