This is not a pulp magazine issue but rather official U.S. Air Force documentation from 1952. The material consists of two Air Intelligence Information Report forms (Project 10073 records) documenting a UFO sighting by a B-29 bomber crew during the Korean War era.
The first report covers an August 23, 1952 sighting at 01:04 over grid coordinates 2841, by aircraft 6359 conducting weather reconnaissance near Sinuiju. Six crew members (Airborne Commander, Aircraft Commander, Pilot, Bombardier, C.F.O., and Right Scanner) observed an unidentified object described as 6-7 feet long, clear-shaped, orange-red in color with red particles shooting off at right angles. The object traveled at an estimated 300+ mph at a 45-degree angle, lasted approximately 3 seconds, and disappeared 150 feet above the aircraft. The approving officer (Captain Charles M. Clark, Jr.) concluded the object was likely a rocket-propelled ground-to-air missile.
