This document is not a pulp magazine, but rather a U.S. Air Force UFO incident report from July 1955. The materials include official Air Force Technical Information Sheets (questionnaires), investigative correspondence, and witness testimony concerning an unidentified flying object sighting reported by Wilbur H. Focht, a Wright-Patterson Air Force Base employee near Tipp City, Ohio. Focht reported observing an object about the size of a golf ball, silver in color, moving very slowly westward around 8:45 p.m. on July 4, 1955. The object was initially stationary at an altitude higher than an overhead aircraft. After the plane passed, the object moved upward, turned south, and vanished rapidly behind a cloud bank. The sighting was verified by Tinker Tower and Air Force Captain William Dougherty. Though investigators initially considered weather balloon possibilities, no balloons were confirmed launched from the area at that time. The incident remains catalogued as unidentified and was forwarded to the Air Technical Intelligence Center for further analysis.
