This document is not a pulp magazine. The OCR text shows declassified U.S. Air Force intelligence reports from 1953 concerning an unidentified flying object sighting off the coast of Ventura, California on August 12, 1953. The report documents observations by four civilians and one Air Force officer who witnessed an unidentified object appearing and disappearing multiple times over approximately 66 seconds between 22:05 and 21:55 hours. The object was described as white in three appearances and red in another, with no sound, trail, or exhaust detected. The observers included engineers from Point Mugu Naval Air Missile Test Center, a Civil Air Patrol member, and an Air Force radar officer. Aircraft were in the vicinity, and the theory that the object was a T-33 Starfire was dismissed by observers due to the absence of sound and the audible noise from other planes in the area shortly afterward.
