Pulp Magazine Cover, October 1953
The document is a U.S. World Aeronautical Chart (WAC-264) covering Georgian Bay and the Canada–United States border region, dated May 8, 1953. It functions as an official aeronautical reference for pilots and military personnel, not a pulp fiction magazine. The chart contains aerodrome symbols, radio facility markers, navigation lights, airspace restrictions, and topographical data. An embedded military communication (dated October 1, 1953) reports a UFO sighting by a civilian near Harrisville, Michigan: a single, highly reflective silver object observed for three seconds at 44°38'N, 83°29'W, moving south with no noise or exhaust trail. No radar contact was established. The document includes supply instructions for both civil and military chart distribution, correction procedures, and detailed legends for aeronautical and topographical symbols.
