Science Fiction Adventure Magazine, June 1957
This document is not a pulp magazine but rather two Project 10073 (Blue Book) record cards from the U.S. Air Force investigating UFO sightings. The first card documents an observation of one bright white object, approximately the size of a car headlight, traveling at less than 5 nautical miles per hour at 8,900 feet altitude near Pepperrell AFB. The conclusion was "probably balloon." The second card, dated June 22, 1957, near Harlingen, Texas, records two round orange objects observed between 8:30 and 10:30 PM that hovered, bobbed, and changed to a red oblong shape while making jet-like noise. The Harlingen AFB operations officer investigated but found nothing, suggesting the sightings were comets or search light reflections. Both reports were forwarded through military intelligence channels.
