This document is an Air Force UFO Report card from Project 10073 concerning a radar sighting on November 14, 1957, at Rothwesten, Germany. The report documents multiple radar contacts detected by personnel at the 501st ACWRON radar station using AN/MPS-11 ground-electronic equipment. The observations occurred between 11:01-11:06 and 17:40-17:44, tracking three separate radar blips or targets traveling at extremely high speeds (2,600-5,500 nautical mph). One initial target split into two distinct tracks proceeding in different directions across the plotting board. The facility's radar maintenance officer attributed the unusual electronic interference to interactions between the Gunpost AN/MPS-11 and a nearby Native Son radar station's AN/GPS-4 operating at different rates. However, the preparing officer notes this explanation does not account for the tracked targets themselves. Primary observer Charles L. Floeck and other USAF personnel observed the radar paintings, which presented clear, normal aircraft-like characteristics on scope, yet the speeds involved precluded conventional identification.
