This document is not a pulp magazine but a U.S. Air Force Project 10073 record card (circa 1952), used to document unidentified flying object sightings. The form captures a sighting report from Captain Phillip W. McIntosh of the 347th Fighter Squadron, piloting near Galena, Alaska. The observation, made via air-visual means, describes a bright object positioned at eleven o'clock, initially high then level with the aircraft. The object followed a straight descent path at seven degrees, burning out toward the north within three seconds. Witnesses noted its appearance resembled a ball with a tail, comparable in size to a quarter. Weather data, altitude readings, wind conditions, and investigative details are recorded systematically. The sighting conclusion and detailed meteorological information are documented for military intelligence evaluation.
