This document is not a pulp magazine issue but rather a Project 10073 record card—an official U.S. Air Force UFO sighting investigation form. The OCR captures a standardized form with fields for observation details (date, location, time group, observation type, duration, number of objects, course), photos, brief summary, and conclusions (balloon, aircraft, astronomical, or unknown). Attached is correspondence from Major Lawrence J. Tacker (Executive Officer, Public Information Division, Office of Information Services) dated June 11, 1959, responding to a May 5, 1959 report from Richey, Montana. The letter explains that material found in a field was analyzed and identified as chaff—radar-reflective aluminum strips dropped by U.S. aircraft during a practice mission, not evidence of unexplained phenomena.
