Pulp Magazine Cover

This document does not contain a pulp magazine issue. It is a series of U.S. Air Force UFO report forms and related correspondence, dating from 1960–1961, concerning an alleged unidentified flying object photographed in Hawaii. The materials include ATIC (Air Technical Intelligence Center) observation forms, photo service requests, technical analysis of a color slide taken by Navy personnel on June 15, 1959 at Waikiki Beach, and official conclusions. Air Force analysts examined the photograph, initially proposed it was a double exposure of a light bulb and Diamond Head, but ultimately determined the image was most likely caused by sun flare striking the camera lens, possibly with water droplets. The correspondence documents the chain of analysis and official communication regarding the sighting's resolution.
