Space Opera Adventure Magazine Cover

This document is not a pulp magazine but rather a Project Blue Book record card from the U.S. Air Force's UFO investigation program, dated May 7, 1961. The form documents a UFO sighting report (Project 10073 Record Card) involving observation of a bright white object with a blue-green cast, sighted at bearing 202 degrees and altitude 35 degrees, observed for 19 minutes. The sighting location was near Salina. The report notes that Space Track confirmed no satellites were in the area at the time of observation. The investigating officer concluded the light could possibly have been an anti-collision light, though information was limited. Much of the remaining text is too degraded by OCR errors to accurately transcribe.
