These are declassified U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book record cards and related communications from December 21, 1961, documenting two unidentified aerial phenomena reports. The first describes a conical, luminous object observed for 5-8 seconds at high altitude (100,000+ feet) with a shallow reentry trajectory, visible as a blue-white glow with a short cone-shaped tail, moving at 15-32 degrees relative bearing. Investigators noted characteristics consistent with a fireball class meteor but questioned trajectory and color discrepancies. The second report documents observations by a C-124A military transport aircraft crew (pilot and flight engineer identified as TSGT, 50 ATS) near Hawaii on the same date. Witnesses reported a bright burning object appearing 1,200 yards distant, 150 degrees above horizon, which disintegrated over 6-8 seconds while moving across their field of vision, with relative bearing shift of 120 degrees. Five ships were contacted via radar in the vicinity where the object disappeared.
