This is not a pulp magazine but a declassified U.S. Air Force document from Project 10073 (later known as Project Blue Book), dated September 23, 1962. The record describes a UFO sighting report filed by the 326th Air Division at Kunia Facility, Hawaii. The observation lasted 20 seconds and involved a single object with a brightness comparable to a second-magnitude star, observed moving at extremely high speed from south to north at coordinates 40°N 16.82°E, heading southeast. The altitude was unknown. The report was distributed to military and intelligence agencies including NORAD, SAC, CIA, and NSA. The conclusion was marked "Insufficient Data for Evaluation," with "Possibly Balloon" and "Possibly Astronomical" noted as alternatives, though the brief duration and extreme speed made satellite identification problematic.
