Pulp Magazine Cover, November 1964
This document is not a pulp magazine, but rather a U.S. Air Force UFO report form from 1964. It documents a sighting near Hale, Michigan, where ground observers reported two objects—one orange and one black—flying in formation. The orange object appeared to be burning with a visible flame tail and subsequently separated from the black object before both were lost to sight behind trees. The report attributes the sighting to debris decay from the Soviet Cosmos 50 satellite, which had broken apart on November 5, noting that observed colors and southeasterly flight direction aligned with predicted debris patterns. An Air Force Intelligence Officer concluded no definitive determination could be made regarding the sighting's nature. The document notes no military aircraft were operating locally at the time.
