This November 20, 1922 issue of *Adventure* features multiple action serials and novelettes. Robertson's "Silver Zone" follows Dallas Showalter, an Idaho homesteader fighting cattleman Bill Hasbrouck over a three-hundred-twenty-acre claim. After discovering Hasbrouck's Basque sheepherders illegally grazing his wheat field, Showalter forces them out—only to witness Hasbrouck and his foreman coldly murder the herders with .30-30 rifles, framing Showalter for the crime.
