Adventure Magazine Cover
This November 20, 1922 issue of *Adventure* features multiple action serials and novelettes. Rafael Sabatini's "The Sea-Hawk" continues in its fourth part as a multi-part serial about pirate adventures. Frank C. Robertson's "Silver Zone" follows Dallas Showalter, an Idaho homesteader fighting cattleman Bill Hasbrouck over a three-hundred-twenty-acre claim. After discovering Hasbrouck's Basque sheepherders illegally grazing his wheat field, Showalter forces them out—only to witness Hasbrouck and his foreman coldly murder the herders with .30-30 rifles, framing Showalter for the crime. Forced to flee, Showalter abandons his nearly-completed claim. Other featured authors include Edgar Young, William H. Wells, Negley Farson, Arthur M. Harris, and Nictzin Dyalhis. Regular columns cover practical services like assaying, weapons, mountaineering, and radio.
