The Argosy, Vol. 81, No. 4

This March 1916 issue of Argosy contains a full book-length novel complete: "Four Speeds for Forest Hill" by George M. A. Cain, comprising chapters I–XXVI. Three serial stories are in progress: "Fools of Sacrifice" (Part I, chapters I–VII) by Arnold Hofmann; "31754" (Part II, chapters VIII–XIII); and "Castles in the Air" (Part III, chapters X–XV). The issue includes seven short stories, among them "The Ring of Braa" by R. K. Thompson and "An Appendix and a Carbureter" by Frank Condon. A mystery story titled "A Mystery of Roscoe Conkling Park" by Seward W. Hopkins concerns theft and disappearance in Utica. Upcoming April features include "The Heir to Three Millions" by Joseph Ivers Lawrence and "The Smuggler's Daughter—Five Reels" by Perley Poore Sheehan.
