This issue of *Argosy and Railroad Man's Magazine* (April 5, 1919) contains four serialized adventure stories: "Cold Steel" by George C. Shedd (Part I, chapters I-VI); "Green Spiders" by Alfred D. Pettibone (chapters VII-IX, Part II); "Texas Fever" by Charles V. Barney (chapters XVIII-XXIII, continued); and "The Hammer" by John Frederick (chapters XXVII-XXXI). Two complete novelettes are included: "Whose Hands?" by Edwina Levin and "First National Bank of Faro" by Raber Mundore. Six short stories complete the fiction: "Mustered Out" by H. Bedford-Jones, and five additional stories by various authors including Harry Stephen Keeler, George C. Jenks, and others. Content spans action, adventure, and mystery genres typical of the pulp period.
