Heinlein about an actor named Lorenzo Smythe who encounters a mysterious spaceman named Dak Broadbent in a bar. Smythe, a performer and mime artist, immediately recognizes Broadbent as someone with space experience despite his denials and ground clothes. Broadbent mysteriously leaves after noticing Martians entering the establishment. The novelette "Clerical Error" by Mark Clifton is included, alongside short stories "Silent Brother" by Paul Janvier, "Chains of Command" by Reg Rhein, and "The Prisoner" by Christopher Anvil.
