This issue of *All-Story Weekly* (February 3, 1917) contains four serialized stories in various stages. "The Argus Pheasant" by John Charles Beecham debuts as a five-part serial. Edgar Franklin's "Opportunity," a four-part tale, appears at part three. George Washington Ogden contributes part four of the five-part "The Holy Scare," while "The Scarlet Ghost" by Perley Poore Sheehan runs its concluding installment as a sequel to "Those Who Walk in Darkness." A novelette, Johnston McCulley's "The Jungle Trail," offers adventure fiction. Five short stories appear: Mary Lerner's "Wages of Virtue," "Courage" by Olin L. Lyman, Bide Dudley's "Jimmy Fagan's Lost Love," John Barnett's "Posh Luker—His Memoirs," and William Merriam Rouse's "John Pyle, Rampant" (subtitled "A Fistful of Diamonds"). The issue concludes with verse and editorial content.
