Main Story: This issue contains the complete novel *Arizona Roundup*, featuring Tex Burnett, a silver-haired ex-gambler and former Texas lawman seeking relaxation in a lawless boom town. He arrives at Mule Gulch intending to fleece dishonest card players ("tinhorns") but finds himself caught between conflicting interests. The cast includes Lance Haraway (alias "Evergreen"), a hotheaded young gunslinger and the son of freighter Jed Haraway; Lily Owens, a gaming-hall operator; and Pearson, a hotel owner with apparent shady connections to the town's crooked gambling operations.
Plot Elements: The narrative establishes tensions between Burnett's arrival and existing town power structures, hints at Sellers' involvement in gambling, and foreshadows confrontations.
