A stranger suddenly attempts to shoot the pair; Chauncy fires reflexively, killing the man. He is immediately captured by miners led by Stockton Sharp, who demand his execution. Silver Ray and Dandy Rock arrive and intervene, drawing guns and refusing to surrender their companion. A captain then appears, suggesting further complications.
