Malta Blue Book for 1912-13
This government administrative compendium provides financial records and official statistics for the British Crown Colony of Malta during fiscal year 1912-13. The work comprises detailed tabulations of revenue sources, duties, and fees collected across various governmental departments including the Lieutenant Governor's Office, Post Office, Government Printing Office, Public Registry, and Customs and Port Department. Contents enumerate taxes, duties, and licensing fees; military and civil expenditure; legislative records; population data; agricultural statistics; shipping and trade information; hospital and prison records; and charitable institutions. The volume catalogs merchant marine certifications, postage fees, official documents, import and export tariffs on goods ranging from beer and spirits to grain, oils, and manufactured tobacco, with corresponding store rental charges and duty amounts collected in pounds, shillings, and pence. Meteorological observations and government property records complete the administrative accounting.
