This February 1909 issue of Blue Book Magazine contains serialized and complete stories across varied genres. Features include: "The Solitaire Cipher" by Frederic Reddale, about a mysterious cipher-will left by Michael Callandar, a wealthy man who spent years in the Orient—the story follows Ted Ballister's attempt to decrypt the will to locate his great-grandfather's riches. "The King of Bangi-Tangi" by Frederick Walworth Brown, an adventure tale involving warfare and spoils. "The Buffer" by Johnston McCulley. "The Quests of Youth" by Philip Rutherford Kellar concerns a Fresh Air Fund orphan boy named Pete and romance. "An Agent of the Government" No. 1 by Clarence Herbert New covers "The Antiraguan Affair." "The Labyrinth of the Law" No. IV by Harvey Denton features "The Southbridge Contract."
