The narrative then shifts to the night express carrying the mysterious sealed coffins and its passengers—including a young guitarist named Roig and his friend Xemil entertaining three young women in the bar car, while disapproving elderly passengers object to the irreverent music aboard a train carrying the dead. The coffins' true nature and purpose remain ominously unrevealed.
