Catalog Note
*La Armadura de Lord Weey* ("Lord Weey's Armor") by Ada Coretti is a Spanish-language horror serial published in 1985 by Editorial Bruguera. The narrative follows detective Clark Murray's arrival at a Victorian mansion to investigate mysterious occurrences experienced by Victor Weey, a young heir. Victor encounters his ancestor's medieval suit of armor moving independently through the library and hears a spectral voice claiming to be the revived Lord Weey asserting dominion over the estate. Fleeing in panic, Victor witnesses a gravedigger inexplicably carving his own name on a fresh tombstone dated 1954-1984, then encounters a red-haired girl claiming to love him before the animated armor reappears, driving her away. Upon returning to the mansion, Victor finds his family assembled. The detective begins investigating, dismissing supernatural explanations while noting something peculiar began with a cigarette, though the OCR text cuts off before full revelation.
