Brigitte en Acción: Matar un Cuervo

Catalog Note *Kill a Raven* is a spy thriller by Lou Carrigan, serialized in the Spanish-language pulp magazine *Brigitte en Acción* (Issue 032, 1965). The story follows Brigitte Montfort, a glamorous international correspondent and intelligence agent operating under her superior Charles Pitzer. After quarreling with her newspaper editor Miky Grogan over expense bills on a luxurious Manhattan penthouse terrace, Brigitte receives an assignment: travel to Nassau in the Bahamas to locate and extract intelligence from—or eliminate—Viktor Yedorev, a dangerous Soviet MVD spy traveling under the assumed Italian identity Amadeo Melli. Pitzer warns that Yedorev, described as a highly skilled operative, will kill without hesitation if he suspects her. Brigitte accepts the mission with reservations about its lethal implications, and departs within hours for Nassau with photographs and contact details for her handler "Simón."
