This Spanish-language spy fiction serial "Brigitte en Acción" (Brigitte in Action) by Lou Carrigan follows the recruitment of a CIA field agent named Brigitte Baby Montfort for a covert Cold War mission. Brigitte, characterized as exceptionally beautiful and multilingual, is summoned to CIA headquarters where she reunites with her former superior, now Director Cavanagh, who was saved by her in a previous Buenos Aires operation. Cavanagh briefs her on a delicate diplomatic crisis: Soviet forces have detained three American embassy employees in Moscow on espionage charges related to attempted bribery of military officers at the Star City space facility. After negotiations via the "Red Telephone," the superpowers have agreed to exchange the prisoners for a microfilm. Brigitte must pose as a tourist/journalist, travel through Europe, deliver the microfilm at Moscow's Domodedovo airport to Soviet officials (likely MVD agents), and return home. She accepts the dangerous assignment, her success dependent on her extensive skills and resourcefulness.
