Brigitte en Acción: El príncipe y la reina

This issue of "Brigitte en Acción" (Brigitte in Action) features a spy adventure by Lou Carrigan. The story begins with secret agent Brigitte Montfort on holiday at a New York City pool, where she is interrupted by her CIA supervisor, Charles Alan Pitzer, bearing a new assignment. Rather than an overseas espionage mission, Brigitte is sent to nearby Bridgeport, Connecticut—just one hundred kilometers away—not as a spy but as a public relations liaison. Her assignment: to assist Prince Chong Ao Ben of the fictional Asian nation of Tadún during his secret American visit. The prince, age twenty-two and English-speaking, has come to negotiate with President Johnson regarding the establishment of American military bases in his country—a major strategic objective for U.S. interests in Asia. The CIA hopes Brigitte's capabilities extend beyond diplomacy should complications arise during this sensitive mission.
