Brigitte en Acción

"Brigitte en Acción" by Lou Carrigan is a spy thriller featuring CIA agent Brigitte Montfort ("Baby"), an elite operative called upon to handle an international crisis. The story opens with a video presentation to CIA officials showing a brutal massacre in the Andean village of Macapinchá in the fictional nation of Perucuador (located between Peru and Ecuador). A well-trained military commando unit has systematically murdered fifty inhabitants. The group, calling themselves "Los Indios Libertadores," demands five million dollars and a military parade from President Juan Lorenzo Salvatierra, threatening further violence if refused. Three survivors—a woman and two children—remain hospitalized under military guard. A Perucuadorian politician, Estanislao Pozuelo, secretly requests CIA assistance through agent Simón-Nueva Andina, fearing the rebel group's true goal is overthrowing American influence. Brigitte accepts the assignment to neutralize the threat covertly.
