Security dispatches patrol trucks to the northern perimeter. Julian Bahr, a D.I.A. (Internal Affairs) official, arrives and takes command, hypothesizing a uranium metal theft. He orders extensive field searches and cordon operations. The narrative suggests espionage or sabotage connected to the abandoned spacecraft program.
