Misterio del Fugitivo

This Spanish-language children's mystery novel is the thirteenth book in Enid Blyton's "Five Finders" series (translated as "Misterio del fugitivo"). The story follows Fatty, Larry, Daisy, Pip, Bets, and Fatty's Scottish terrier Buster as they become entangled in a mystery involving a fugitive from justice. The narrative begins with the group reuniting after school holidays and learning that Fatty must entertain Eunice, the daughter of a visiting coleopterologist (beetle enthusiast) attending a congress in Peterswood. The visiting scholar and his daughter arrive by train, with Fatty reluctantly tasked by his mother with making Eunice feel welcome. The local police constable, Mr. Goon, appears throughout, creating friction with the children.
