Museum Catalog Note *New Palaces* (April 1937, Vol. 16, No. 1) is an aviation pulp magazine featuring war and air adventure fiction. The main serial, "Death Paints the Skies" by William O'Sullivan, follows Jim Clancy, a former New York detective turned fighter pilot, arriving at the Eighty-Eighth Pursuit Squadron on the Marne Front during World War I.
