Museum Catalog Note: Everybody's Magazine, May 1924 This issue features two novelettes and seven short stories by various authors. The lead novelette, "The Fifteenth Corinthians" by Stanley Olmsted, concerns Margaret Garnmore, a mountain woman in Little Snowbird Valley who experiences auditory hallucinations from deceased family members. When her fiancé Luke Rives, conscripted during the First World War and believed killed in service, appears at night at the family spring, Margaret learns he is alive but a hunted fugitive falsely accused of felony. The story explores their reunion and emotional reunion. The second novelette, "At the Sign of the Ash" by Edwina Levin MacDonald, is listed at page 131. Seven additional stories are noted, including "The Kneeling Cupid," "The Odyssey of Oliver Jones," and others. The issue includes feature sections on humor and columns.
