Gordon MacCreagh contributes "Dr. Muncing, Exorcist," in which a psychical investigator battles a malevolent entity summoned through séances; after the creature claims a victim, Dr. Muncing warns that the elemental being has escaped into the world. "The Affair at 7 Rue de M—" appears at page 71. A verse piece titled "Destination" is included, along with "The Abyss." The issue also contains book reviews and a "Memories of H.P.L." section. Robert A. W. Lowndes contributes "The Black Beast" novelet, depicting torture scenes and voodoo imagery in a colonial setting. The back matter includes reader's letters, subscription information, and an index to Volume Two. Future issues advertise Austin Hall's "Almost Immortal" and Robert E. Howard's "Valley of the Lost Heredity."
