"No Holds Barred" by Alexander Blade (11,400 words) depicts wrestlers Jim and Benjy combining brains with brawn. "Cavern's End" by C. A. Baldwin (19,000 words) concerns a ship's stoker who is also a doctor, with character Jean, set in the South Pacific pre-war. "Panama Adder" by H. B.
